Replacing Missing Teeth

Fixed Bridges

Fixed bridges have been the standard method of replacing missing teeth for many years. When a tooth, or teeth, is lost and strong supporting teeth border the resulting space on each side, then a fixed bridge just might be the method of choice for replacement. Essentially, a fixed bridge consists of a crown-type restoration on each side with a pontic (false tooth) attached in the middle. This is then cemented permanently onto the adjacent teeth.

Dental Implants

Dental implants can be the ideal method to replace a single tooth, several teeth or even a full set of teeth. By using dental implants, Dr. George is able to restore your mouth to a condition very close to what is was like before any teeth were lost. Essentially, dental implants are artificial roots onto which we can attach crowns (caps), a bridge, or a full denture. After restoring the missing tooth with a dental implant, you are left with a strong, natural-looking replacement that looks and acts just like the original tooth.
